Increased hydraulic efficiency in bale press with Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46 for Belgian company Jopack
Jopack is a Belgian family business, specialized in deep litter and feed for horses. In order to reduce transport costs, it is very important to make sure volumes are as compact as possible. The company uses 2 presses, each driven by a Bosh-Rexroth 80 kW pump to compress (200 bar) material into compact bales.
Over time they noticed deposits on the servo valves and pump damage. This had an immediate impact on the pressure delivered and overall company productivity, since the presses are key applications.Advised by Ingelbeen-Soete, the change to Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46 was made in May 2011.
The impressing results:
- The oil drain interval more than doubled and this result is still increasing.
- No unexpected downtime anymore.
- No deposits on the valves noticed anymore.
