The product is designed for closed heating and cooling systems in the food and beverage industry, where NSF H1-registered lubricants are mandatory. With a maximum bulk temperature of 300 °C and a maximum film temperature of 315 °C, Mobiltherm FM 32 clearly targets the most demanding high-temperature applications.

What makes Mobiltherm FM 32 stand out?

Mobiltherm FM 32 is a premium heat transfer oil based on white oil, with an ISO VG 32 viscosity grade. It is intended for closed, indirect heating systems where incidental food contact is possible.

The key difference compared to the existing range is the temperature range. Mobiltherm FM 32 is suitable for high-temperature heat transfer applications with maximum operating temperatures going beyond the limits of Mobil SHC Cibus 32 HT. For installations that consistently run at the upper limit of their current fluid, that is a concrete reason to review what is in the system.

Approvals and applications

Mobiltherm FM 32 carries the certifications the food industry expects:

NSF H1

Kosher & Parve

Halal

FDA 21 CFR 178.3570

This makes the oil suitable for heat transfer systems in food production, beverage production, meat and fish processing, bakeries and packaging lines, wherever an H1-registered, Halal- and Kosher-certified product is required.

Availability and packaging

Mobiltherm FM 32 is available in two pack sizes:

IBC 1000 L (material code 158599)

Drum 208 L (material code 158600)

The product was launched in June 2026 for the European market, including Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and France. The product data sheet (PDS) and safety data sheet (MSDS) are available with the launch. Just ask and we will send them to you.

Considering a switch to a food grade heat transfer fluid, or is your installation running at the limit of its current oil? We are happy to review with you whether Mobiltherm FM 32 is the right choice, including advice on flushing and conversion.

Get in touch with us

Source: ExxonMobil Product Line News

ExxonMobil is expanding its food grade lubricants range with Mobiltherm™ FM 32, a new white…

[1

post-7523","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-geen-onderdeel-van-een-categorie
["GET
