Ingelbeen-Soete officially appointed Mobil marine distributor for France

As of 2026, Ingelbeen-Soete is the official Mobil marine distributor for France. This extends our territory from Belgium and Luxembourg across the entire French market — from the seaports along the Channel and the Atlantic coast to the inland waterways. For French shipowners, fishing companies, dredging contractors and shipyards, it means a single direct point of contact for the complete Mobil marine range, backed by technical advice and delivery from a family business that has been in lubricants since 1929.

Mobil marine distributor France - tanker truck at ship

What this means for the French market

The appointment gives French maritime customers direct access to the full Mobil marine portfolio, without intermediaries. In practice: short lines to our marine specialists, transparent pricing and a delivery operation built around the reality of shipping — a vessel does not wait.

Our location in West Flanders works in your favour. The northern French ports and the inland waterway network are close by, and our own fleet for packaged and bulk goods serves customers in the region daily. For Atlantic and Mediterranean ports we plan deliveries around your sailing schedule.

The complete Mobil marine range

As an official distributor we supply the full Mobil marine package for every vessel type and engine configuration:

  • Mobilgard cylinder and system oils for slow-speed engines
  • Mobilgard medium-speed and high-speed diesel engine oils
  • Mobil SHC Aware range: environmentally acceptable lubricants (EAL) for stern tubes, hydraulics and gearboxes
  • Mobil Delvac engine oils for auxiliary engines and deck equipment
  • Hydraulic oils, gear oils, compressor oils and greases for deck and engine room applications

This covers the full breadth of the sector: inland shipping, seagoing and coastal trade, fishing, dredging, towage, shipyards and bunkering.

Delivery on board at night

More than lubricants alone

A distributorship is only worth something if support comes with it. Our marine customers can count on:

  1. Product advice tailored to engine type, fuel quality and operating profile
  2. Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis — oil analysis that monitors the condition of both oil and engine, helping to prevent unexpected downtime
  3. Field Engineering Services: lubrication surveys, troubleshooting and root cause analysis in case of damage
  4. Delivery in packaging or in bulk, including urgent deliveries when needed
  5. Support in Dutch, French and English

That is how we combine the strength of the world’s largest lubricants producer with the flexibility and personal approach of a family business.
